LIFTMASTER
The following is a digital video that I conceived, wrote and co-art directed with the goal of making home builders aware of the relevance of smart-home technology. More importantly, the video reminds builders of how LiftMaster's smart-garage technology is the only way to truly complement the smart homes they build. The video lives online and has been broadcast across various builder trade events — it's also linked to in various builder-targeted print ads like the one just below the video.
CHAMBERLAIN
The following are various marketing materials (TV commercial , digital video and in-store/trade ads) for Chamberlain's Corner to Corner Lighting Smart Garage Door Opener — and yes, we did everything we could to try and shorten the name of the product. No dice. C'est la vie.
The "C2C" Opener is the brightest garage-door opener in the world and lets users see every corner of their garage like never before.
The "C2C" Opener is the brightest garage-door opener in the world and lets users see every corner of their garage like never before.
I co-conceived and wrote the following TV spot entitled "What Will You Find?" for Chamberlain to air throughout 2019 on HGTV and the DIY Network.
And lastly, here's some content that I made for Chamberlain's "Clicker" remote control garage-door opener/closer, specifically targeting newly moved-in homeowners. First up are some animated banner ads, displayed here in storyboard form.
This one uses simple copy to show how your exposed belongings are just begging to be "clicked" and protected — while also having some fun with how annoying targeted banner ads are.

MyQ
Here's a bunch of stuff I've created for MyQ, which is smart-home technology created by LiftMaster that allows homeowners to control their garage remotely from their smartphones.
First up is a TV spot advertising the partnership between Honeywell Security and LiftMaster's "MyQ" app in the form of the new Honeywell Total Connect 2.0 app.
I conceived and wrote the story for the ad and assisted in its artistic direction and production. My team was tasked with showing a relatable use for the app's new garage-control feature while fitting within MyQ's 'quirky' brand voice. This video lives within the brands' social channels and websites, with a shortened version as a television spot and pre-roll ad.
Here are some screengrabs from MyQ's ever-evolving website, which I wrote throughout 2018 and early 2019. Visit MyQ.com for a full look at the site and its many offerings.
And, lastly, here's an (admittedly pretty out there) multimedia launch campaign for the new MyQ Delivery app — a service allowing consumers to have their packages delivered into their garage, protected from the many dangers faced by "exposed" packages left on doorsteps, including theft and weather damage. This service was eventually merged with the 'Amazon Key' home-delivery service which led to this campaign becoming "temporarily" shelved.
Geo-targeted notifications for MyQ Delivery users when they're near airports or transit stations, in an attempt to remind them of the dangers of leaving packages exposed while they're traveling out of town.
Direct mail piece; an empty box serving as the last package to be left on the recipient's doorstep before they make the switch to in-garage MyQ Delivery.
